Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. If using a grill, make sure it is clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pre-blended Chipotle Citrus Rub, vegetable oil, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  3. Pat dry the chicken wings using paper towels to remove any excess moisture.

  4. Place the chicken wings in a large ziplock bag or a shallow dish. Pour the Chipotle Citrus Rub marinade over the wings, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight. This allows the flavors to infuse into the meat and enhances its deliciousness.

  5. Remove the marinated chicken wings from the bag or dish, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.

  6. Place the wings on the grill or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper if using the oven. If grilling, cook the wings for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice charred appearance. If baking in the oven, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown.

  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken wings from the grill or oven and let them rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and the flavors to settle.

  8. Serve the Chipotle Citrus Rub Chicken Wings hot as an appetizer or as part of a main course. Pair them with a zesty avocado lime dipping sauce or a refreshing citrus slaw for a delightful combination of flavors.
